QT130-IOT: IO Transmitter Series
The QT130-IOT transmitter series, comprising the QT131, QT132, and QT133 models, is engineered to enhance connectivity and integration with various systems. Each model offers specialized functionalities to cater to different applications:
QT131: IO Transmitter with Relay Contacts and Analog Sensors
The QT131 model is equipped with relay contacts for actuators and analog sensors, providing galvanically isolated 4-20 mA and 0-5 V input and output signals. It also includes an internal sleep/wake function, which allows the system to shut off non-essential components when continuously powered, optimizing energy usage.
This model can be expanded with the QT131-IOM: Arenal IO Module. The QT131-IOM is a single PCB board connected to the PCA via a Modbus RTU connection. It offers:
- Four galvanically isolated 4-20 mA or 0-10 Vdc output signals.
- Two galvanically isolated input signals.
- Four relay contacts.
The QT131-IOM is housed in an industrial powder-coated aluminum enclosure and can be located up to 1000 meters from the PCA. It also features a configurable sleep mode timer, adjustable through the PCA.
QT132: IO Module with GSM Modem for Remote Monitoring
The QT132 model includes a GSM modem, facilitating remote monitoring via Arenal PCS in Delft. This model is particularly suitable for remote access applications, especially where wired internet is not available.
This model integrates with the QT132-IOM: eWon IO Module. The eWon IO Module is an industrial VPN router that securely connects the PCA to any location worldwide. It allows multiple connections to different PCAs and supports GSM modem use for locations with limited network access. For continuous remote monitoring, a network connection is recommended to minimize costs and avoid GSM fees.
QT133: PLC-Based IO Transmitter for Enhanced Connectivity
The QT133 model is a PLC-based transmitter designed for ultimate connectivity to external IO systems. It supports integration with multiple IO extension cards, offering unparalleled flexibility for complex applications.
For applications requiring additional PLC interactions, the QT133-IOM: PLC LT3300 IO Module can be employed. The QT133-IOM connects the HMI to an external PLC, such as the LT3300 from Proface, or to an extension module like the CANOpen module. This configuration provides a highly adaptable solution tailored to specific communication and control requirements.
