Arenal offers complete spool pieces with PU lining to measure the density of abrasive slurries in pipes, featuring flush-mounted SPC sensors. For any pipe size, unlined spool pieces use the WFC probe, which is mounted externally. The Steel Wafer Cell is designed for high pressure (up to 600 bar) and paste applications, utilizing a sensor-less configuration to avoid contact with the medium. It also has a wolfram carbide coating and can measure wear in pipes based on erosion patterns. The standard wafer cell, made from UPE-1000, is suitable for low pressures (up to 7 bar) and temperatures (up to 55 °C) and is individually designed for durability.
