Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control Design to join our dynamic team at Tomarok Engineering. This role is ideal for someone with at least 10 years of experience in a leadership capacity within the field. As a pivotal figure in our team, you will guide our projects to ensure that our designs are not just compliant, but also of the highest quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather project requirements and steer the design process.
• Create and oversee the development of electrical schematics, layouts, and detailed drawings using advanced software.
• Perform feasibility studies and lend technical expertise in the evolution of electrical systems.
• Uphold industry standards and regulatory compliance in all designs.
• Engage with suppliers for component sourcing and evaluation.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support during project implementation phases.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years in a leadership role within an engineering context.
• Proficiency in Electrical Instrumentation Control Design, with experience in Mining and Power Plants being highly desirable.
• Skilled in software tools such as ETAP, EPLAN, AVEVA, and Smart Plant.
• Proven experience in industrial plant environments.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
